Frequently Asked Questions
About Grimmor
What is Grimmor? Grimmor is Europe’s first AI-powered social commerce fashion marketplace. We combine intelligent product recommendations, virtual try-on technology, and social-first shopping to create an immersive experience that brings the traditional shopping experience to e-commerce.
Which markets is Grimmor currently active in? Grimmor is currently active across the EU, with an actively growing user base in Western Europe. Your products will be visible to users across all active markets from go-live.
What is the typical Grimmor customer profile? Grimmor’s core audience is 18 to 35, fashion-forward, digitally native, and based primarily in Western Europe. They are active fashion consumers who discover new brands through content and community rather than traditional advertising. They have high purchase intent and are open to discovering both independent and established labels.
Brand Curation & Partnership
What kind of brands does Grimmor partner with? Grimmor is a curated marketplace. We partner selectively with brands that have a distinct identity, quality product content, European market presence or ambition, and a digital-first approach. Brand categories we feature include: Ready-to-Wear, Sustainable Fashion, Streetwear, Elevated Basics, Contemporary Design, Accessories, Activewear, and Resort & Holiday.
Is Grimmor an exclusive channel? No. Grimmor is non-exclusive. You are free to sell on your own website, other marketplaces, and through any other channels simultaneously. We do not require exclusivity at any stage of the partnership.
Who else is currently on the platform? You can discover all active brands and products directly on the Grimmor app. We encourage prospective partners to explore the app to get a feel for our brand mix and curation standards.
Do you feature sales or discounts? Grimmor has a strict MAP (Minimum Advertised Price) pricing policy to protect brand integrity across the platform.
Integration & Technical Onboarding
How does technical onboarding work? For Shopify brands, we offer a direct sync integration that automatically pulls your product catalog, pricing, and stock levels into Grimmor. For WooCommerce brands, direct integration is currently in development. In the meantime, and for all other platforms, onboarding is handled via our CSV template, provided at signup. Our onboarding manager will guide your team through the full setup.
How long does onboarding take? From signed agreement to go-live takes approximately 1 week, depending on how quickly catalog data and imagery are shared from your side. The faster you deliver your assets, the faster your brand goes live.
Stock & Order Management
Who handles fulfillment? Fulfillment is managed directly by your brand. When an order is placed on Grimmor, you receive the order details and ship directly to the customer using your existing fulfillment process. Grimmor does not hold or manage physical stock.
How is stock synchronisation managed? For Shopify brands, stock levels sync automatically in real time. For brands using CSV upload, stock updates are managed manually via the back office. We recommend keeping your catalog updated regularly to avoid overselling.
What happens if an item goes out of stock? Out-of-stock items are automatically deprioritised in the feed. We recommend updating your catalog promptly to reflect stock changes, particularly during peak selling periods.
Payments & Commercial Terms
What is the commission structure? The commission is 13% of the completed order value for the first year, and 15% from the second year onward. A 2% Stripe payment processing fee also applies. There are no listing fees, no setup costs, and no additional charges.
When and how do brands get paid? Payouts are processed 14 days after delivery, via Stripe. Your brand dashboard provides a real-time breakdown of orders, returns, and earnings, along with a detailed transaction report alongside each payout.
How are returns handled? Returns are managed in accordance with the terms outlined in your brand partnership agreement.
The Grimmor Experience
How does the virtual try-on feature work? Grimmor’s virtual try-on technology allows users to visualise selected products on a digital representation of themselves before purchasing. For your products to be eligible, imagery must meet our resolution and background standards. Our team will confirm which products are try-on eligible during onboarding.
What is the Grimmor wardrobe feature? The wardrobe is a personalised space where users save and style items they love. It currently features products available within the Grimmor platform.
How does the social commerce element work? Users on Grimmor can share, save, and style products, creating organic content and peer-driven discovery for your brand. This happens natively within the platform as users engage with your catalog. No additional management is needed from your side.
Contract & Legal
Is there a formal partnership agreement? Yes. You can review and sign the brand partnership agreement directly on the partner page.
Is there a minimum contract term? No minimum contract term applies.
What are the termination conditions? Either party can terminate the partnership with one month’s written notice.
Who owns the customer data generated from our sales? As the merchant of record, your brand owns the transactional relationship with the customer, including order data and billing data. Grimmor owns platform-level behavioural data (browsing patterns, feed interactions, saves, style preferences), which is generated by how users interact with Grimmor as a product, not by the transaction itself.
